Item 01

Septic pumping

Regular pumping is the cheapest insurance a septic system has. We locate the tank, open it, pump the sludge and scum layers out and look over what we can see: baffles, inlet and outlet, lids and risers. For conventional tanks the usual guide is every three to five years; aerobic units go by sludge depth and the manufacturer’s schedule.

  • Conventional tank pumping
  • Aerobic pretreatment and clarifier pumping
  • Tank location
  • Visual inspection while open
  • Residential and commercial

Item 02

Aerobic maintenance contracts

In Grayson County, every aerobic system needs a maintenance contract with a licensed maintenance provider unless the owner qualifies to maintain it under the county’s homeowner rules. We manage the inspection and testing your local agency mandates, file the reports, and fix what we find with parts carried on the truck. And we won’t sell you a cheap contract and make it back on the service calls.

  • Routine inspection visits
  • Testing and reports to the county
  • Chlorinator checks
  • Alarm response
  • All brands serviced

Item 03

Septic & aerobic repair

Most aerobic trouble comes down to a handful of parts: the aerator, the pump, the control panel and alarm, the timer, the spray heads, the chlorinator. Our technicians carry a complete inventory of common parts so we rarely have to come back a second time. On conventional systems we repair lines, baffles, lids and risers and track down the cause of slow drains and soggy ground.

  • Effluent pumps
  • Aerators and air lines
  • Control panels and alarms
  • Spray heads
  • System rewiring
  • Lids, risers and clean-outs

Item 04

New systems & replacements

A new system starts with a site evaluation and a design that fits the lot and the soil, then a permit and an authorization to construct before anyone digs. We install aerobic systems with spray or drip disposal, conventional tank-and-drain-field systems, low-pressure dosing and evapotranspiration beds, and we help with all the paperwork so the process goes as easily as it can.

  • Aerobic spray and drip systems
  • Conventional systems
  • Low-pressure dosing (LPD)
  • Evapotranspiration (ET) beds
  • Replacement of failed systems

Item 05

Risers, lids & clean-outs

A buried tank lid means digging every time the system needs service. Risers bring access up to grade, and secure, properly fitted lids keep children, pets and stray feet out. We also install clean-out pipes so line stoppages can be cleared without excavation.

  • Lid replacement

Aerobic systems

What an aerobic system does.

  1. Pretreatment tank Wastewater from the house settles; solids and liquids separate.
  2. Aeration chamber An aerator pumps air in, so bacteria break the sewage down.
  3. Clarifier Remaining solids settle and return to aeration; clear effluent rises.
  4. Chlorinator Effluent passes calcium hypochlorite tablets for disinfection.
  5. Pump tank Treated, disinfected water is stored until the timer runs the pump.
  6. Spray heads or drip Water is dispersed on the lawn, usually at night.
